At BreakFree Aanuka Beach Resort there are 4 ceremony settings ranging from formal to informal in atmosphere.
The Resort Chapel - Our most formal setting is our charming cedar chapel located by a fresh water lagoon and nestled amongst native gardens. Upon entering this structure you will see it is elegantly illuminated by natural light streaming through stained glass windows. There is also stone fountain in the courtyard offering a beautiful entrance feature and photo opportunities.
*Setup includes chapel use for 1.5 hours, silk flower alter, piano, signing table and chairs.
Lawn ceremony areas - For the more informal affair you can choose from 3 lawn areas all offering a gorgeous beach and ocean backdrop.
*For this more formal affair we provide a boxed signing table with chair. However you may like to arrange outdoor seating and theming though a local decor company.
For your ceremony you can choose from a selection of 4 venues, 3 with stunning views of Diggers Beach.
Norman James Lawns - For a unique and elegant reception, dine under the stars on the Norman James Lawns. With a backdrop of moonlight twinkling over the ocean, your wedding will be the most memorable night of your lives, and your guests!
Norman James Room – Offering plenty of natural light and stunning ocean views the Norman James Room is the smallest indoor wedding reception venue, suited to intimate celebrations. There is also a tiled covered patio area that sits adjacent to the Norman James Lawns where guests relax in the fresh air.
The Breakers Room – The Breakers Room is the second largest wedding reception venue. Offering an elevated position, the Breakers Room overlooks a lagoon further out to the ocean in the distance. Boasting natural light this room also offers an elevated deck where the stunning views can be admired from.
The Lagoon Room – Our Lagoon Room is the largest wedding venue and features dramatic high ceilings, natural light and a courtyard. Surrounded by luscious surrounds, the Lagoon Room is the closest venue to the chapel.
*Your reception hire includes round guest tables (seated) or scattered cocktail table (cocktail) with white linen tablecloths, white linen napkins, cutlery, crockery, glassware, uncovered chairs, boxed cake table with cake knife, boxed present table.
